Founded in 2001, ANW Networks is Alicia's vision for a new kind of firm, offering full agency services, in-house consulting, and subcontracting to bigger agencies.​

The ANW Networks team is comprised of the very best senior public relations, investor relations, social media, analysts relations, content creators, and branding experts from around the world.

A NEW KIND OF AGENCY...

 

Alicia V. Nieva-Woodgate, Managing Director​

Alicia V. Nieva-Woodgate is a Denver based corporate communications veteran, with twenty plus years professional experience, and more than fifteen years’ experience in creating and driving strategic in-house and agency led, PR programs.  She has been a consultant to various US and international agencies, VC’s, and corporations; working with financial institutions, REITs, retail, biotechnology, and high-technology companies. In addition, she has worked with blockchain, cryptocurrency, fintech, and payments. Companies she has represented over the years include: TBG Digital, Swarm Fund, Libra Tech, GlobalLogic, DataStax, Pogoplug, Boxee, NearbyNow, USA Technologies, Gentia Software, Sanmina, Rio, Zoran, The Mobile Digital TV Alliance, Lexington Properties, SL Green, PeopleSoft, Mavesa SA, ING Barings, Clorox, HearMe.com, Gabriel Venture Partners, dELiA*s, Plex, Kodak Alaris, and GreenButton among many others. In-house experience includes divine InterVentures, VERITAS, Mediabolic, Opsware, and Squidcast.

Alicia began her PR career at the US headquarters for Crosby Securities, Inc., a Hong Kong based investment bank, as Manager of Media Relations and Marketing for North America.  Before working in public relations she spent six years at various other Wall Street firms, including Drexel, Burnham & Lambert, and Banco de Investimento Garantia.

When not working you can usually find her chasing the Northern Lights or rooting wholeheartedly for her favorite sports teams.

Claudine Cornelis, Managing Director

 

Managing Director, Financial Services: New York based, Claudine has worked with some of the world’s leading brands including The Coca-Cola Company, HSBC, General Motors and AIG. Most recently she has worked with Sammons Financial Group’s wholesale broker-dealer Sammons Retirement Solutions, the leading trade association for CFOs and senior-level financial executives, Financial Executives International (FEI), the first cardless cash network in the US Pin4, and financial planning software vendor MoneyGuidePro. For the latter, she interviewed 40 industry thought leaders and ghost wrote the book Exploring Advice: What you Need to Know About Good Financial Advice, A Quality Financial Plan and the Role of A Fiduciary.

 

Previously, Claudine was part of the global management team at Aspectus PR, responsible for establishing a business and building a brand in the US for the UK-based agency as it expanded its operations to North America Prior to joining Aspectus she spent several years at Financial Dynamics (now part of FTI Consulting) where she was instrumental in building the NYC Corporate Communications Practice, and went on to run the firm’s West Coast operations while overseeing bi-coastal teams and P&Ls.

 

Claudine’s branding and crisis campaigns have received industry recognition: PRSA Brand Identity Award for the launch of ex-AOL CEO Steve Case’s vacation club Exclusive Resorts and the Gold SABRE Award for her crisis and reputation management work for shoe mogul Steve Madden from his indictment and prison incarceration to his release.

 

When not at home with her family in New York’s Hudson Valley, Claudine’s personal quest is to see as many of the world’s natural, old and new wonders as possible.

Darcy Hansen, Director

Darcy Hansen – Director, Media and Analyst Relations: Darcy Hansen has more than 15 years of experience in technology public relations, spanning both agency and corporate environments in New York and San Francisco. 

 

She began her career at the height of the Internet bubble helping clients including PayPal, Plaxo and Institutional Venture Partners, build and execute comprehensive communications plans. In addition, she managed accounts for established enterprise tech companies including Oracle, Cisco Systems and VeriSign. During her tenure at Burson-Marsteller, she developed measurable campaigns for HP's flagship business units, Alcatel and WeatherBug. Her in-house corporate experience includes Amdocs, a leading customer relationship management solutions company, and IBM, where she developed and drove campaigns for managed IT security, cloud computing leadership and global technology services sourcing deals. Most recently, she has consulted with Dell’s Storage and Data Protection divisions and drafted various materials for the European Patent Office’s European Inventor Award program. 

 

A Texas native, Darcy and her family enjoy hosting European exchange students through Cultural Vistas, a nonprofit exchange organization, giving them a taste of Texan life, introducing them to Tex-Mex, and showing them around the “Big D”.

Joe Bousquin, Editorial Director

 

A former staff reporter for The Wall Street Journal and TheStreet.com, Joe Bousquin has 20 years of writing, editing and publishing experience. As principal of American Editorial Services, a full-service editorial outsourcing firm in Sacramento, Calif., Bousquin manages a superb team of editorial, photo, design and Web professionals to create complete editorial solutions for government, corporate, publishing and real estate clients.

 

Bousquin earned a master’s degree, with honors, from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. The grandson of first-generation German emigrants, he speaks German fluently, and has an ear for modern German business language.

 

An avid whitewater kayaker, he spends his free time exploring the rivers of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
